- Quantify your experience by including numerical figures.
- Also see these resume action verbs. And use action verbs and action phrases This is one of the most important tips.
- Your CV must sell all the benefits of your skills.
- Remove everything that starts with responsibilities.
- Create a professional email address. This is one of the tips that most applicants ignore.
- Your strengths must stand out clearly at the beginning of your CV.
- If you did more than your job title implies, then elaborate more. Such as filled in for my boss for 3 months.

What not to include in your resume
- Don’t include hobbies.
- Avoid mentioning ethnic or religious affiliations.
- Don’t include your expected salary or your current salary.
- Avoid abbreviations, even for common words.
- Don’t include marital status, health or age. Only include, if asked to do so.
- Never use “I” to identify yourself.
- Minimize highlighting in bold.
